I am a senior Canadian artist. ColleenO'BrienStudio.  Over the years I have been an artist, wife, mother of four, pilot, student, teacher, and traveler. While raising my children in Western Canada, I achieved a dream and attended universities, which allowed me to get a BFA and a Masters Degree!

Another dream:  The Collector's Gallery of Art in Calgary, Alberta handles my art. They have been unfailing in their encouragement and sales.

During Covid lockdown, I have been enjoying doing commissions, and I just finished painting the horse and jockey who won the Kentucky Derby a few years back.

Another project during lockdown is designing quilt panels with various themes.

My inspiration comes from many places, and many travels. Since my early days as an artist, my family has been a major influence on the artist within me.
